  1. I think they would have smashed Gilbert regardless. Seattle starting has not faired well in this series.
  2. Pitchers on short rest have been very good in this Post Season.
  3. The World Series doesn’t start until Friday. Both teams can try some funky things and still be able to line up their rotations how they want. The real only difference is if they use Gausman tomorrow they could use Yesavage for Game 1 and Gausman game 2 which would be regular rest. Honestly you could see Gausman and Max tomorrow.
  4. I am just going by what he said in his post game scrum. Said be would be in the Bullpen ready to give the Jays an inning.
  5. Yup really elevated his game when it mattered. Made his mediocre Season irrelevant. If he could channel this over a full season he could compete with Judge for MVP. But obviously playoffs > anything that happens in the regular season.
  6. Crazy that he has now made as many playoff starts as he has regular season starts.
  7. Honestly wouldn’t be shocked if we saw Gausman in a big spot tomorrow. He seemed pretty confident he would pitch in a Game 7 and he’s obviously not starting.
  8. He is but the Blue Jays absolutely dumpstered him last time out.
  9. Home Whites just look so sexy. So happy we will be wearing them going forward.

  11. Just need to win tonight. Don’t worry about any other game. Can’t look at it as needing to win 2. You win tonight and worry about Monday when it comes.
  12. Well I seriously hope that's not happening. And sadly most of those people aren't actual Blue Jays fans. They are degenerate gamblers or just scum that Toronto area has to offer that get absolutely pissed at the bar and got irrationally angry. I am definitely one of the more vocal people here when I don't decisions. And I have never thought about attacking a player or their family verbally or any other way. And I haven't seen anyone else here that has done that either. Twitter and social media is entirely different animal. We have some knuckleheads here. I know because I am one of them. But for the most part mostly intelligent Baseball conversation takes place here. The bickering about decisions is natural. That happens in the Blue Jays dugout and front office as well. With that being said nothing Joe Siddall or Kevin Pillar or anyone else related to the Blue Jays broadcast said anything that would incite any kind of violence or threatening behavior. They have a job to do. They were hired to give their opinions and speak their mind in situations because that makes for a more entertaining broadcast. I normally am not the biggest Joe Siddall fan but I do appreciate that he speaks his mind and he does it in a professional way. If you think the way Joe Siddall conducted himself on the broadcast was bad. You should really tune into some Yankee segments where Michael Kay goes on some pretty absurd rants.
  13. I feel the Yankees lineup was more scary and the Mariners have more raw power. Good lineup no doubt. Ohtani is the only one that really makes you want to s*** your pants
  14. https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/video/breaking-down-blue-jays-decision-to-use-little-in-eighth-inning/ Here you go. Tell me where he crossed the line.
  15. The good news is Ohtani took all the media sting away from our game lol. Nobody outside of Seattle is talking about what happened. Good job Shohei!
  16. You know what to do next. Facebook Marketplace.
  17. Interesting they must see something nobody else does. He can't command 2 pitches imagine going back to 3 or 4.
  18. Are you suggesting Rogers should fire Siddal for being critical of a managerial decision? He's a Baseball analyst that's literally his job. Do you want glorified yes man to look blank into a camera and lie to a viewers face? Or do you want unique and interesting Baseball discussions when big things happen in games?
  19. That's a s***** mindset. Obviously the Dodgers would be the heavy favorites. But I think the Blue Jays or Mariners could beat them. I would not be shocked if it went 6 or 7 games with either team. The Dodgers pitched incredibly in this series but they shaky bullpen and Jays get to good pitching a lot.
  20. Baseball is a very luck and momentum based sport that's for sure. I didn't like the usage of Little in that situation personally but he has been the 8th inning guy a bulk of the Season. I really point back on all the missed chances to add on runs. Whether it was failure to execute an extra 90 feet or be able to get a guy in at third with less than 2 outs. Miller was on the ropes multiple times in the game and they couldn't put runs on the board. Some of that was bad luck some of that was bad at-bats. We saw a lot of both tonight.
  21. I would have been pissed if he blew it no doubt. But I couldn't question the decision making to use Hoffman in that situation. He's obviously had his ups and downs this Season. But his stuff has really come back in the Playoffs probably due to all the rest. And he is the guy you paid to be your Closer. Whether people like him in that role or not. Between not using your best reliever agianst the heart of the order and John Schneider's reasoning of wanting them to see a different look is where most the anger should be pointed. If he's now referencing this as a reason to not use guys. Why has he used Hoffman multiple times in blowouts this post season alone.
  22. Why whenever we lose people fight over the dumbest s***. I just don't understand.
  23. I want to play the Dodgers in the World Series so bad.
