  1. That's actually kind of suprising. Does Moss project better in LF or RF? If I remember correctly he had a decent arm. It looks like Pearce may play First Base everyday anyway. Perhaps Smoak plays against RHP who don't have good breaking pitches. Kinda sad how useless he is. But it's got to that point,
  2. He was abysmal in the second half. In fact most of his career he's either really good or really bad. I would prefer we find someone who is a little more consistent and athletic. He can play an OF corner but I don't think I want to see him play it everyday. Platoon hides him but he would still see more time in the OF than I would like. If worse comes to worse a cheap power option. But I would like to see us exhaust other options first.
  3. Moss barf. No thanks
  4. Edwin in LF was an experiment they quickly abandoned for a reason lol

  6. Anything is possible. But it won't look good to sign someone and turn around and ask him if they could trade you somewhere else. That's a good way to piss off the MLBPA and its not exactly a good way to conduct business period.
  7. Yes that's what Ken Rosenthal was suggesting. That's why I brought it up.
  8. Fowler is a good player. But he doesn't project well in CF long term. I feel they certainly overpaid and glad we didn't go there. Apparently St. Louis is looking to spend accordingly to Rosenthal. Maybe they are talking to Edwin.
  9. 5 years 82.5M wow with a full no trade
  10. 100% he plays full season ball unless he suffers an injury.
  11. Yea it could be a good month before we see another big move. Kenley will let the Marlins and Dodgers fight over him for awhile. See if they can't get the Nationals in on him as well.
  12. That won't happen though.
  13. You can't trade a player you just signed.
  14. I still don't understand why losing out on Fowler automatically means Jay Bruce for some of you. They want an athletic on base guy they will search the trade market for that first and foremost. It's already been said the interest in Bruce was limited. Atkins likely was looking to see if the Mets would dump him. But considering they retained him they aren't looking to give him away or eat most of his salary. Therefore no fit.
  15. Fans mad because we didn't grossly overpay Fowler lol.
  16. Why would an Orioles fan sign up and post on a Blue Jays message board is the real question.
  17. They just need to go back to the old system where the 3 best Outfielders win the gold glove. He would have 2 already.
  18. Now that makes sense. People were shocked at the time about how much of the contract the Padres were covering. This was discussed at length but if a website f***s up its information s*** like this happens. No harm done.
  19. How did the Upton contract situation become so unclear lol? He's making peanuts this year.
  20. 2 RF's interesting. A new twist on the shift. Just have Pillar cover LF and CF
  21. More interested in reasonable doubt. Everyone wanted Prince. Casuals wanted Ubaldo. Bobcat started that movement.
  22. Why is Fowler a pipe dream. St. Louis overpaid to secure him.
  23. Are you kidding me lol
