Obviously IKF, France, and Dominguez are all free agents as well but the Blue Jays weren't on the hook for much of those remaining salaries.
I think bringing back Bassit as a back end Starter makes sense. His market dictates a 1-year $15 million dollar deal. He might get a multi year deal elsewhere but he seems to want to stay here and might take a haircut.
If you can't bring back Bieber... Framber Valdez, Ranger Suarez, Dylan Cease, Michael King, and Zac Gallen are all out there. The Jays have been linked to Cease a lot in the past. I would think the Jays would be motivated to add Left-handed starter considering its very high right-handed rotation.
Go into next season with a rotation of
Gausman
Bieber or Cease
Yesavage
Berrios
Bassit
It's not terrible but I think they might go after 2 Starters.
