    I think it would be stupid to tell prospects to pitch around hitters in the minor leagues.

    It would be nice if he wasn't making it so f***ing hard for them lol. Hes hitting .435 and its almost June and his average is actually climbing not dropping. What he is doing is absurd. Having him here right now just doesn't make any sense. This team with no pitching isn't going to do f*** all. And our offence wasn't very good to start with. They have to at least get him past the super-2 threshold. Unless he gets hurts no way we could go until mid April 2019 to call him up. I mean the Cubs were ostracised for doing that with Kris Byrant but nobody really talks about it anymore.

    I don't understand why that Petricka dude is here he has gave up 18 hits 7.1 innings pitched and has never struck people out in his career.

    Watching this team is becoming painful. Pitching staff outside of Happ has been so bad. Hopefully we can a nice return for Happ and some of the bullpen guys. It just seems like everyone is under performing badly.

    I think he was suprised that Ohtani was around second base. Looks like he assumed Ohtani would be standing on the first bag side of second and picked up on the base running blunder to late.

    I wish Happ could pitch every night. I actually feel we can win when he pitches.

    Good for Bautista not giving a s*** about legacy or career numbers. Play the game you love as long as you possibly can because you only live once.

    If Adames played for a big market organisation this would be a much bigger story. I can't believe the Rays get away with this s***. This is so blatant. In few organisations he would been called up in 2016. For almost every organisation he would be up in early 2017. He crushed the ball in Spring and still want sent to repeat AAA as a top prospect. Its madness.

    He was awful in that game against Sale but Sale makes a lot of hitters look bad. I thought they were pretty quick to demote after giving him more opportunity. It was a bizarre move for sure. He should have been given an extended opportunity to play Shortstop. He was hitting the ball hard was getting extremely unlucky and advanced stats showed that as well. I wonder if they will have Grichuk use his full rehab time to get as many at-bats as possible. We don't really have a pressing need for him in the Outfield.

    Blue Jays middle infield is hot garbage. I can't believe Urshela is our everyday SS for the foreseeable future.

    I applaud the Nats for this. But they are in a much different situation than us. They need to win this year. They need to do everything to try to convince Bryce Harper to resign which includes making bold aggressive moves like this. Considering he already has excellent plate discipline he will probably be able to hold his own and get on base when he slumps.

    The simple answer is no. But they will probably move him to Buffalo at some point to make them happy.

    Gibbons isn't getting fired lol. This team can't hit at all. They have hit some homeruns but they don't hit or get on base. And the starting staff is awful. Outside of Happ... tons of walks and they don't miss bats. Not a recipe for success. You can't rely on just a bullpen to keep you and games some late inning magic every night.

    Have to keep Vlad right where he is. The Blue Jays are quite bad and even though he would help this team would be way better off saving that extra year of control and selling off pieces at the deadline. Bringing him up to mainly DH and maybe play 3rd once or twice a week just doesn't make any sense.

    If Bautista's stint in Atlanta told you anything is that he should probably never play Third Base again. You know when they bench you for Ryan Flaherty they have zero confidence in you.
