Yea I don’t see any reason to make him pitch in New Hampshire in April. Just start the year in Dunedin and be will find himself in Double-A by June. Which would be a crazy in itself for him to move that quickly.

The location of the Stadium is the only reason why they still play at Rogers Centre. It could not be any more prime of a location. Unfortunately that means we will likely have to deal with renovated versions of the cement dump forever. They could have destroyed the current building and rebuilt on the current stadium sight but that would have required us to play elsewhere for one season. Perhaps Montreal. In a season we were going to lose 90+ games might have been a good solution. -

Still walking to many but nice to see him and settle in and make the adjustment. Will probably be a big part of this rotation next year.

I would say zero chance. Giving long term extensions to relievers is a risky buisness especially with the injury scares Giles has had. He’s good but you can find relievers. I think you will see less and less long term extensions for them going forward. I love watching Giles pitch don’t get me wrong but he wouldn’t be here right now if he didn’t get injured at the wrong time.
