    Perhaps the emergence of Kirk could possibly light a fire under Jansen. If Kirk hits he will steal his playing time. Could work out great on 2 fronts.

    Both guys are young enough to change their bodies in a single off-season if they commit to it. Kirk has way to much potential with the bat to let that bad body limit his potential. He can’t be 5’9 265.. atleast get in the 230-235 range.
