Its not a knock on Ryu. But realistically he might not be a guy we want seeing the lineup of good teams a third time through. Looking like 5 inning pitcher at this point in his career. Or he gets this s*** figured out next season. Either way I’m currently terrified of him facing Judge and Stanton for a third time.

He calls his own games and doesn’t throw bullpens. He also does his own “scouting”. All these things should probably change as he might go from the Ace to 5th Starter next season.

Ryu certainly doesn’t get another look at the top of lineup. If he could get us into the 5th tied I would be thrilled. Don’t even think he should have started.

This is the coldest “outdoor” Baseball game in Toronto since Exbition Stadium existed. Apparently they have difficulty closing the roof once it drops below 15C. Covid is making weird things happen lol.

Its really cold out and the air is fairly heavy and damp. Might not see the ball carry as well with the roof open. The roof is open usually when its hot. If not for Covid it’s probably closed on a night like this.

Going to be honest I’m shocked they activated Biggio. His AAA numbers were pretty horrendous. And he had a lengthy “rehab” stint.
