Estrada was so good for a couple years. He had like one of the lowest opponents batting average for like 3 straight years and his fastball topped out at 91. All about that placement.

Yea must be nice not to employ negative WAR players. With all the great offensive players the Blue Jays have their is always a Goins, Panik, Valera….ect ect ect It’s actually nice having options off the bench.

Nobody said there lineup was bad. Its just when you look at their lineup nobody’s numbers really jump out at you. Just goes to show you how overrated most traditional stats are. You need to look deeper to see why the Rays are so good.

I’m not comfortable when the main four aren’t in personally. Maybe Merryweather figures it out in time to be relevant. But I have zero faith in Pearson. I’m hoping Soria see’s no more high leverage innings the rest of the way.
