  1. I see my post got deleted lol. I thought we were past all this. Guess not. Atleast alternative options are available now.
  2. Would have preferred this without the third year. Not a huge fan. Would have preferred this money was put elsewhere. He could surprise us like Matz though. His Major Career has been extremely unimpressive thus far however.
  3. And I remain very thankful you’re not the General Manager.
  4. God do I want Kyle Schwarber. He absolutely transforms this already good lineup. High on base slugger that hits lefty. Can rotate between 1B, LF, and DH. Bat him second Springer Schwarber Vlad Jr Due up in the first inning every night. You can’t pitch around that. They are either doing damage or getting on base.
  5. Determination really does pay off lol. I guess it really is a good look when a team liked you before you broke out and were willing to pay you top dollar once you did.
  6. This team is past stop gaps. They are either going to make a big play in free agency or make it in the trade market.
  7. Have to say I’m a little disappointed. I thought they went with Gausman because Ray was holding out for much more than he was worth. The contracts being similar it seems clear they preferred Gausman. I hope we target Rodon
  8. They definitely aren’t giving another starter 100 plus million. But they will absolutely add another starter.
  9. Apparently Max’s contract is approaching $45 million annually….. WTF
  10. Still think they should sign Schwarber. Rotate Gurriel, Vlad Jr, and Schwarbs through LF, 1B, and DH. He would be like the perfect #2 hitter to get on base infront of Vlad. Imagine Springer, Schwarber, and Vlad Jr coming at you in the first inning. All can get on base or go deep in a hurry.
  11. Yup would have loved him at that price. Hes one good pitching coach away from being fixed.
  12. Provided the Rangers pitching coach isn’t a dumpster fire. I think that contract is going to be an absolute steal for Texas. Great off-season for them so far.
  13. Good. Swing & Miss is King.
  14. Jays could easily come out of this off-season better and have tons of draft picks with a huge bonus pool.
  15. Rodon is the perfect fit here. Not linked to any compensation either. White Sox are dumb for not qualifying. Let the Angels overpay Ray and lets grab Rodon.
  16. Jays finally got their guy. I’m happy its only 5 years. I thought they might have to go longer to keep from his preference to stay on the West Coast.
  17. We’re all set up for Bo to slide over second and sign Correa to play Shortstop. Trade for Jose Ramirez to play Third.
  18. Decent signing but this bullpen needs substantially more swing and miss
  19. $25 million for the next 7 years. I would say that’s pretty fair. The length I wouldn’t like but clearly they needed the years to get him. I doubt the Jays we’re willing to go over 5.
  20. Texas was so s*** I don’t even think they have to surrender their first round pick to sign him.
  21. Trading Moreno would be stupid. He could realistically impact 3B in April. If Cleveland wants that much other teams and the Jays will pass. And the longer they keep Ramirez the more his value drops.
  22. I never thought I would see the day where the Blue Jays would give a pitcher a 7-year contract. This is a big commitment. But if you go year by year he will probably be worth it.
  23. This would be nice.
  24. In a season where 3 teams won 100+ games, and a 91 win team finished 4th in their division. The 88 win Atlanta Braves are a prime example of how anything can happen if you just get in.
  25. Yea it will definitely be interesting to see how his Free Agency goes. I think the NL adopting the DH would be very helpful for him because I don’t think he can play OF everyday. Wouldn’t be suprised if Atlanta tries to retain him.
