That series certainly got a lot more spicy than expected. Going after Draisaitl was just a f***ing pussy move though. I don't really like when Superstars get targeted like that. Want to catch him in open ice with a big hit fine. But to slash at his hands attempting to injure is f***ing weak.
He can still get insanely hot. We have seen it before. He looks like a worst hitter in Baseball for a couple weeks and than he just turns a switch and you think he will hit a homer every at-bat.
I think the Mariners always knew they would lose the trade in the future. Banking on him hitting some big homers for them. Could still happen.
He's far from elite but hes been mostly fine in the role. The Jays need more back end options though absolutely. If you can upgrade on Romano you do it.
