    Meanwhile Davis Schneider continues to make a mockery of AAA. .407 on base with a .943 OPS. Why he hasn't been called up yet is beyond me.

    This is a much tougher lineup for Manoah to navigate. Loaded with Superstar talent although not all of them are performing like Superstars.

    If the Angels don’t trade Ohtani. They will officially be the dumbest franchise in the history of sports. There’s absolutely no reason to keep him when they can set up their entire future with one trade. Its not like they are going to have Trout anytime soon either.

    Would love to see them potentially take the division if Tampa keeps slipping. I don’t consider the playoffs started until in the ALDS. The Wild Card is more of an extension of the Regular Season for me.

    Once they took him you figured he would sign but doesn’t happen without savings. You get a second round talent in the fourth as a result. Feel the Jays did well in this draft despite not having a Second Rounder.

    Intentionally walking Ohtani should be banned.

    Almost triple the slot value but the toughest sign has signed. The savings on Arjun was clutch.

    Interesting time to promote Martinez. In his last 7 AB’s hes struck out 6 times lol.

    They should go a minimum of 10-2 on that strech. Especially post trade deadline. Those teams will be bleeding for talent.

    Looks like the Jays and Arjun had a sweetheart deal in advanced if he fell to the Jays. It’s quite unusual for a High School prospect with a strong College commitment to sign that much under slot. Especially where he was ranked by most publications. Makes signing everyone else substantially easier. I still hate this slot system.

    They are going to have to play well in the division down the strech or its not going to happen for them.

    Zero shot he picks up his option unless he blows out his arm. Hes prime for a contract in the 3 years and 90m range. We are so lucky to have Gausman at the price we got him at. He would easily be getting over $30 million + in this market. Actually Berrios with his bounce back is also considered quite the bargain at this point. If he can just float around his current performance for the next few years. Jays will get surplus value on that contract.

    They literally said on the broadcast yesterday that he was sitting 87-89 and touched 90 a couple times

    You’re reading way to much into that post. We have not seen the best of the Astros yet and people are way to quick to dismiss the Yankees. Jays have been remarkably healthy. Going to need to continue to play well and improve to both make the playoffs and win a game in said playoffs. Something they haven’t been able to do the last 2 trips.

    Jays are 7-20 inside the division. I don’t think anyone fears them lol. Wanting to see the roster improve is not a defeatist post lol. A lot of Baseball to be played and the Jays like a lot of teams should be looking to get better.

    Wanting to improve the roster is complaining now lol. No I don’t think this current team is good enough to win a World Series. A couple quality pieces can put them in a much better position however. The offense is a legit concern in a short series.

    That's my hope that they trade off some farm for some bats. I could also see them making a big splash though for a longer term player as well though.

    I think they are going to full Lakers to try to shake up the team. Mess or not. They are very much in the playoff race. And they don't sell or rebuild. Judge or no Judge.

    But barely holding on the wild card spot and will have to outplay the Yankees and Astros down the strech to hold onto one. The Yankees are going to go crazy at the deadline more than likely. And the Astros are the Astros. The real wild card is Baltimore. Who of outside maybe Atlanta have been the most consistent team in Baseball.
