    The way he was throwing I felt very good about him completing 6. If he needed some help he needed some help.

    They said he didn’t have any restrictions. He doesn’t need to be eased on. Would be a good time to throw 100 pitches today. And QS are not an arbitrary start. 6 innings of 3 runs or less is a very good goal each start. What a stupid take.

    What’s wrong with giving your Starter a chance to complete his outing and put up a quality start.

    It’s really frustrating. And everyone using the off days as an excuse is just pitiful. All it takes is your starter to be knocked out of the game early Tuesday to have a taxed pen again. Let your Starters eat their innings. Ryu was grooving and perfect time to give him an extended outing.

    Maybe Springer needs glasses full time. He can't see clear strikes over the plate and he loses the ball in the sun on a daily occurrence.

    I was quite convinced the last 3 months were legit. He could still be more like that guy. Giving up back to back doubles is not something he does often. When he does get in trouble its usually command related. I still applaud the effort to bring him in.
