I don't think we should extend the bullpen at all. You have to feel Stroman can go atleast 6 and Lowe, Sanchez, and Osuna can get you through the rest of the game. But if we are extending anyone today its Stroman. I just hope our offense can make these decisions easier.

Sanchez numbers vs lefties include his starters numbers do they not? I haven't looked at his exclusive relief outings vs lefties. But he's clearly a different pitcher in relief. He's featured a cutter recently as well.

To be fair Price in his relief outing was pretty effective against the lefties outside of Choo. Otherwise overal he gave 2 soft singles and a broken bat single. The rest were probably legit hits. He should have been taken out after his clean inning for insurance for game 5 it was 8-2 at the time. But if we can win today and not have to use him he will be in line perfectly for game 2. Gibbons dumb decision could end up working out. -
I'm not nervous yet. When the game starts maybe a little bit. I will feel incredible if we get out of the top of the first with a zero. Scoring first will be huge.

If Gibbons knew there was a chance Loup couldn't go using Price in game 4 for that long was incredibly stupid. But some blame goes to Alex for not giving us other lefty options like Hynes or Girodo in September incase something happened to Cecil and knowing Loup was been non effective.

No he changed his approach so he can get early contact and go deeper into games. His stuff will still overmatch guys at times but I doubt will see high K numbers from him. His groundball rate however has been incredible.

I don't think Bautista would complain about First Base as long as they told him well in advance. He actually has pretty good hands in the infield I think his first base transition would be pretty easy.

If we win game 5 atleast it sets up our rotation well for the ALCS. Estrada: Games 1 and 5 Price: Games 2 and 6 Stroman: Games 3 and 7 Have Dickey pitch in game 4 unless were trailing in the series which will change this order. I think we should go with the deeper pen next series leaving Carrera off the roster.

That would be a very good matchup. But I think both the Cardinals and Dodgers go to game 5.

Game 2. I doubt they start him on 3 days rest with his struggles. Estrada likely gets game 1 with Stroman going in game 3.

Agreed Stroman is the hot hand right now and the future. But with that being said I still believe if we advance that David Price will pitch well for us.

Hamels is 100x better than Gallardo. I don't care if hes left-handed. I fully expect him to pitch well.

Chrinos is f***ing dangerous he absolutely crushes us. Osuna got him there but he crushed us in Tampa and he hits us with Texas.

Not trading for another lefty out of the pen was a huge fail. But why didn't we try Colt Hynes or Chad Giordo in September.

So Price comes into a blowout game in game 4 that takes him out for both Game 5 where we probably really needed him. And Game 1 of the ALCS if we get that far. Unless they plan to start him on 3-days rest something he has never done.
