    Gausman picked him up. Time for runs. Jays need to remember Tyler Anderdon is pitching.

    The only guy worth considering is Easton Lucas and shedding pitching depth isn't something you can really do right now. It is a nice problem to have. Some of those 40-man guys particularly one in the minors will likely be moved in Trade Deadline deals. Whether its a smaller dealer or part of larger one that might help sort that problem out on its own.

    Would be nice if he stayed in the organization he does have pop. People will point out he's 27 but Loperfido is 26 and consider him a prospect so will see.

    Loperfido call up kinda strange considering he hasn't been particularly good in AAA. And Will Robertson who has been much better got DFA'd. Hopefully he can add a spark though. He does play with a lot of energy.

    New York Yankees fans actively chasing Anthony Volpe out of town. And after he apparently hit Judge in the face during warm up might be over for him. Yankees in absolute shambles.

    Long term it is more of an issue. But this division is right for the taking right now. Santander can’t be activated until August it looks like now. Depending if they actually think he will be healthy enough to return for the stretch drive is something they will have to determine. He did not look very good before getting hurt so if you have the bat that solves all your issues now I don’t think you pass on because you have Santander.

    I mean yes you are right but he doesn't have to play 3B everyday he can cycle through DH. They will want Ernie to get 3B reps as well. Barger will still see a little time at 3B but pretty sure they would prefer for him to settle into RF long term. Adding that kind of power would just be a massive boost. He almost has twice as many homeruns as our homerun leader. And it doesn't look like we should expect Santander back anytime soon.

    I don't think anyone would really be opposed to this. Gimenez has difficulties staying on the field to begin with. If nothing else the Yankees are rumored to really want him. It would be nice to both fill the Jays need and keep him from the Yankees.

    Yankees in third place now. What a crazy 5 game swing for them. Hopefully the Rays lose as well.

    A little confused why they didn't just keep Lukes in the leadoff spot. He was a massive spark plug last night.

    It was probably worse than I remember. But yes that was really where the Hoffman implosion happened and he had that brutal stretch after being unhittable in April.

    Angels are better than people think they are. What they do have is a lot of power and that can change a game quickly obviously. But this should be a team they beat although they pummeled us in Anaheim earlier this Season.
