  1. I love you Estrada. I'm totally fine with you wearing #25 even though it should be retired at some point.
  2. I didn't know Jacob Anderson was still in the organization. Unless that's a different one.
  3. Its really only that Asche scrub that's hurt him.
  4. I did. Goins looked good. It would have been a perfect throw to be close. And pre Buster Posey rule.
  5. That was a completely serious post. I don't think your reaction was exactly necessary. If you disagree that's fine. But that's a lot of work out of the pen. Especially at that point in the season. But whatever it is what it is.
  6. I really don't think they had a play at the plate. Especially with that poopy arm.
  7. But I could be happier if he wad standing on the second with the inning still going?
  8. I mean I like a lucky bloop double as much the next guy but extremely doubtful they got Goins.
  9. WTF Travis? Why now Estrada leads off the inning.
  10. Well I suppose we want Boston to win. Sebastian Shaw is on our side tonight. That evil bastard.
  11. Thank god a pitcher was running. Like that's not easy at all but he was so relexed because he know he had time to do that.
  12. Sure lets pretend Estrada is Kershaw. I sometimes dream Noah Syndergaard still pitches for us.
  13. Jesus Christ everytime I try to like Zeke he does something like that.
  14. Plus he was on PED's and in the Biogenesis scandal so huge douche.
  15. Donaldson should probably hit third. Bautista first, Saunders second with Edwin in his cleanup spot. I would love to have Saunders hitting just a little higher. Have your 2 best On base guys up first followed by your best hitter also break up 3 straight right handed bats. Late game situations managers might use 3 relievers in one inning.
  16. Well that was still a good leadoff at bat
  17. I do and I also understand they haven't had any consistent results. And as burlingtonbandit said right above me the way Gibbons uses his bullpen this wouldn't work out well. A set schedule possibly but if its a game we need to win and your schedule says you can't use Gibbons are you really going to tie the hands of your manager? I'm sorry but it doesn't make a lot of sense. The adjustment alone to pitching every 5 days into doing back to back outings would take its toll.
  18. Wouldnt logic suggest pitching more frequently would lead to more wear and tear? If they really care about innings start limiting him to 5 right now. Possibly let him go longer if he has a low pitch count.
  19. I thought the plan was to shut him down completely. If the plan is to actually have him pitch as the setup man it actually makes zero sense.
  20. If Edwin wants to return the team friendly contract Shapiro and Atkins offered will more than sufficient. If a team like Boston wants to give him 3 years and more term let them. They can buy his decline years and we get a first round pick.
  21. I don't understand how pitching out of the pen 4 or 5 times every week instead of pitching every 5 days is going to protect his arm. Gibbons will use him in the 8th everytime we have the lead. Just leave him where hes at until he struggles. Just give him an extra day everytime we have an off day and even skip him if hes line to face a terrible opponent. We have 2 legit spot starter options in AAA. They could make this work.
