  1. Interleague scheduling is f***ed up. San Diego AT Toronto was the only matchup that has never happened and it's finally happening this season after almost 20 years of interleague baseball. Also, Albert Pujols will probably never get a chance to come back to St. Louis with the Angels since the Cardinals are playing out in Anaheim this year and the next time those 2 divisions play again, Pujols may already be out of the game. He left St. Louis after 2011 and the fans haven't seen him since at Busch Stadium since.
  2. Guys on MLB Network thought Donaldson should have had an inside the park home run
  3. Luckily Dickey is not starting at Coors Field this next series
  4. Too bad the Blue Jays don't get to face James Shields in this series.
  5. Call up Roberto Hernandez, a "diamond" in the rough...NOT!
  6. I can't believe the longest home run at Coors Field was almost 20 years ago and it wasn't even 500 feet, AND it wasn't by a Rockies player.
  7. What does "avridge" mean? Hopefully Tulowitzki goes nuts offensively when he makes his return to Colorado in a few days. Too bad Morales probably won't be playing against his former team though.
  8. Former Jays f***ing over the Cardinals tonight!!
  9. No joking allowed on here, eh?!?!
  10. Maybe Mike Sirotka can finally make his "long awaited" Blue Jays debut 15 years later! Couldn't be any worse than Matt Boyd's debut with Toronto.
  11. This was probably already posted on here, but I heard that Todd Frazier has the lowest batting average for qualified players I believe? That's Rob Deer territory!😲
  12. Time to sign Jose Canseco to a contract with incentives to be a 51 year old DH!😃
  13. Nothing will ever come close to being a Texas Rangers fan in the 2011 World Series
  14. I guess if the Blue Jays win, the official scorer will have to determine which pitcher will get credit for the victory since the starter won't be going 5 innings
  15. Scherzer is another guy from my hometown of St Louis. Greg Amsinger, another St Louis native who works on MLB Network, predicted a second no hitter for Max a few months ago and he was correct!!
  16. Kind of like Wladimir Balentien over in Japan (referencing eric thames)
  17. She DOES look like robin scherbatsky. And oh by the way, this year's MLB playoffs are gonna be legen...wait for it...dary!!!
  18. Remember in the 2001 World Series when the Yankees took all the momentum away from the Diamondbacks by winning those three straight games at Yankee Stadium the way they did? And they definitely would have won the World Series if they would have played a fourth straight game there, but after heading back to Phoenix for the last two games, the Diamondbacks found a way to snatch that momentum back as well as a ring
  19. I will agree that the baseball set up does a lot more as far as momentum is concerned. When one team gets to play three straight playoff games at home, you almost forget that the other team actually has the home field advantage.
  20. With any luck, hopefully the last game of the season goes a couple extra innings so then Buehrle will definitely have a chance of getting 200 innings
  21. This also reminds me of the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals when just the width of a puck was the difference between ending the series in Calgary or having to fly all the way across North America to Tampa to play the 7th game.
  22. I've never liked that setup in baseball even though I understand it makes for less travel than the other sports. But for the team that starts on the road, all they have to do is split the first 2 games, and they have a chance to wrap up the series at home because the next 3 games are at their ballpark. There may not even be a 6th or 7th game at the team with home field advantage's ballpark. That happened in the 2006 World Series when the Cardinals split the first 2 games in Detroit and then won all 3 home games afterwards and the series never did go back to Detroit cuz the Tigers were throwing the ball all over the field In St Louis. So technically, the Cardinals had more home games than the Tigers.
  23. What's funny is that I just drove through the town that Jake Arrieta is from (Farmington, Missouri) and I think he's gonna shut down the Pirates in the wild card game just like he did on Sunday night baseball. Cardinals/Cubs playoff matchup would be great for baseball since they haven't met in the playoffs it looks like since the 1886 World Series
