    It's insane, but Donaldson, at 4.8WAR now, is pacing to have a better season than last year. With Trout on the Angels, it looks really promising for him to repeat as MVP.

    I know, but it does really seem like he's especially on point now and his demeanor seems "different". I've never seen the guy smile so much, as he has of late.

    There's something to this, you're probably right. Tulo is an emotional guy and seems to take things personally. That ovation the Colorado fans gave him probably helped his comfort here more than we know.

    He seems to only be 2SM reliant when he's at home (I guess to try and prevent to long ball?), but away he tosses the 4SM, especially in pitchers' parks and the numbers don't lie.
