    His 2nd half was such a huge departure from his 1st half, mostly due to the increase in K%. It increased by 4% into the 30% range. It was already high at 26% in the 1st which was masked a bit through the inflated BABIP. We need less whiff happy hitters, so I'd balk at bringing Saunders back for a starting role.

    That's huge. I wonder if fan response or, more so, player response caused this? Perhaps he's not the right "fit" lol.

    Jansen over Chapman all day. Chapman is all FB and if he loses velocity, the effectiveness could decline quick. Jansen's movement on his cutter at 96mph is virtually unhittable, I see him aging better.

    There's only 1 or 2 posters I dislike here, and neither of them are Boxy. He's great and super informative. He's corrected me a few times on certain things I dwelled on a lot early this season and prior, and, as a result, I learned to try and research a bit more before posting my opinions.

    They could, based on internal risk tolerant extensions. I'm thinking extensions to the likes of JD, Stroman, Sanchez, and Osuna; combined with RFA signings.

    I think Thames and Holliday could be accomplished with 1 year deals a piece as well, leaving it open for Tellez in 2018. Either that, or sign Eddy to a 4 yr deal and one of Thames/Holliday/Pearce to a 1 yr until Tellez us ready.
