    It's not about being a Leafs fan... Nothing that's history needs to define who you are or what you do going forward. It's a very simple concept.

    Have they been on a bad playoff streak? You bet. But every season is new. Every team that makes the playoffs has a shot. History is in the past for a reason. We remember it, but doesn't define who we are or what we do going forward.

    Don't want him even at $1.5m. Not the right fit at this stage of his career.

    There have been 2 or 3 times this season where 'something's happening'... Then it abruptly stops happening. They've been wildly inconsistent.

    Probably not. But that doesn't excuse the lazy effort.

    I guess the question is how you choose to look at his accomplishments/stats. If voters look at it as, 'of all the catchers that have ever played, where do his power numbers, All Star appearances, and gold gloves match up?

    They've done this multiple times this season. Play great.... Play like garbage.... Then play great, then like garbage... Wildly inconsistent. This team could win the world series, or miss the post season altogether.

    Should have an over/under on how many innings Merryweather pitches before he's hurt again.

    This FO needs to only focus on adding players that are made of iron. Pearson, Springer, Merryweather. No bueno.
