Korpisalo sitting out for trade related reasons. It wouldn't shock me to see Dubas try to land Korpisalo. He does have Boston's 1st now that he can shop. If he can shore up the goaltending, then really...there are ZERO excuses for that core group.

What is an average fastball in today's game? I honestly haven't looked in years. I can't see Richards' fastball being average in terms of velocity...but maybe I'm out to lunch on that. His changeup is very good....but again, when I say smoke and mirrors I mean he's not going to blow anyone away and relies on deception...such as a very good changeup. An average to below average fastball and a good changeup to me feels like smoke and mirrors...his success isn't going to be "stuff based" (ie. power stuff). -

If it's in that 25-30 range, definitely not. Depending on the draft (some are much deeper than others), but usually, once you get passed that top 15-20....players between 21-50 are very interchangeable. It isn't unlike baseball...you have your top tier guys that you know are going early...but at a certain point you can get guys ranked 80th taken at the end of the 1st round.

Yes. McCabe still has 2 years remaining on his contract after this season. Lafferty has one more after this season. Neither are rentals. McCabe is the Top 4 D-man that can step in for Muzzin.
