  1. No. I just sit and enjoy watching my team play. I don't feel the need to complicate my life with nonsense.
  2. BALK http://uploads.jovo.to/idea_attachments/631702/141018-greenpeace-genfood-chicken-chicken-money-money-bok-bok-cover_bigger.jpg?1413737075
  3. I blame Trouba anyway. ..... Good drugs.
  4. f*** the Yankees!
  5. I guess you didn't. I don't think there was ever much doubt that he'd be added to the roster though (health notwithstanding). The main debate is starter or reliever. As much as I love Stroman and what he can bring to the rotation, I'm just worried that he won't have enough rehab starts under his belt to be sharp. Sharp like you need to be when you're pitching in a pennant race. I hope I'm wrong...and I hope he comes out and picks up right where he left off.
  6. I like business first players. If you want players having fun on the field let's put a bunch of mentally challenged kids on the field. They'd have a f***ing blast. Tulo is about production and wins. He's about substance over style.
  7. ML experience. Lefties. Farm system isn't weak as a whole...the higher talent isn't ML ready.
  8. Buehrle is a big concern. And that's the only reason that I'd entertain having Stroman step in...I'm not completely sold on either solution right now. If Stroman could have another 3-4 rehab starts under his belt then I'd be a lot more confident. Maybe AA can pry Kershaw out of LA.
  9. It's all "WE" have. We're not there. All we see is the box score and any scouting reports we find on twitter regarding velocity, movement, control, command. I see 8 hits and 4 walks in 3 innings and on the surface that doesn't sound good. Were they hard hit balls or a bunch of chinks and bloops. The walks though...a bit more worrisome.
  10. And conversely, he has 2 minor league starts under his belt since what, last September? Almost a year...And you want to just throw him into a playoff race because he's Marcus Stroman. I'm not saying he can't step in and produce...but it's not an automatic....not at all. The command needs to be there. Today it wasn't...maybe in 5 days it will be...Guy hasn't pitched in a year basically and he's ready after 2 minor league starts? I'd be excited to see him start in place of Buehrle next time around...but I'm not going to pretend that there aren't concerns. We need to be guarded and reign in our expectations.
  11. I'm surprised Pillar didn't slide to make that last out.
  12. But it's all we have to determine where his control/command/stuff is at.
  13. So if his leg feels good but he can't throw strikes or command the strike zone it doesn't matter?
  14. Coming back is a pretty tall order now...but you can't win them all. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.
  15. It's funny cause this is always how I remember games against Boston going... They just always seem to have luck on their side.
