I'm just pointing out the philosophy that I seem to be seeing. Don't worry about anything other than swing and miss. I just think that there's more to it than that. But it's possible I just need to be convinced as I'm old school, slowly learning about new school.
Even if my wife changed the locks on me, I'd be pissed...but I wouldn't start kicking down doors. People get way too angry way too fast.
This whole situation could've been avoided with a bit more conversation ("Hey. Who are you? What do you want?"), and a little less smashing of doors.
A lot of the times the high error totals for these highly regarded players are because they can get to extra balls that an average SS can't, and then try to be a hero by forcing a throw. Can't say for sure that this is what's happening here, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Bismack can guard pretty well anyone, so I don't think you have to worry about too many bigs out there. When the Cavs made their run in the last game it was when they brought in Frye and they had Biz on him at the arc opening up the post for easy layups and dunks. Having Val out there theoretically closes that gap?
