  1. Not 2016 Draft, but tragedy strikes... http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/15924604/vanderbilt-commodores-pitcher-donny-everett-dies-drowning-accident
  2. I don't deny that he's good, but I think the name Quantrill (ex-Jay/Canadian) does add even more to the appeal.
  3. I go with Dodgers, but just barely over the Nationals.
  4. If Cal Quantrill's last name was Jones there wouldn't be half the love there is for him in Toronto-land.
  5. After a hot start Pentecost has cooled way the F down.
  6. Ok bro. Have another one.
  7. What the hell are you even talking about?
  8. Tellez with his 8th homer of the season.
  9. Spin it any way you want. Your track record speaks for itself.
  10. You must not be familiar with wamco's work.
  11. As long as they can make you feel good about yourself, that's all that matters right.
  12. I've given up hope that we'll ever see Osuna as a starter again.
  13. Good deal. There is some upside to the deal if Grilli can perform closer to his previous track record. And if he doesn't, is only Sean Ratcliffe.
  14. Atta boy, Pillar! But to be honest, even a mediocre throw should've gotten Edwin at the plate.
  15. f***ing Estrada! Beauty! Just what the doctor ordered.
  16. I'm just pointing out the philosophy that I seem to be seeing. Don't worry about anything other than swing and miss. I just think that there's more to it than that. But it's possible I just need to be convinced as I'm old school, slowly learning about new school.
  17. Swing and miss is the only thing that matters now. Hits are irrelevant.
  18. Atta boy, Storen. You certainly deliver as expected.

Even if my wife changed the locks on me, I'd be pissed...but I wouldn't start kicking down doors. People get way too angry way too fast. This whole situation could've been avoided with a bit more conversation ("Hey. Who are you? What do you want?"), and a little less smashing of doors.
  20. The strange thing is that some people will take an outing like today's (5.1, 5K's, 11H, 7R) over 8 innings and 3 K's, 5H, and 1R.
  21. A lot of the times the high error totals for these highly regarded players are because they can get to extra balls that an average SS can't, and then try to be a hero by forcing a throw. Can't say for sure that this is what's happening here, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Bismack can guard pretty well anyone, so I don't think you have to worry about too many bigs out there. When the Cavs made their run in the last game it was when they brought in Frye and they had Biz on him at the arc opening up the post for easy layups and dunks. Having Val out there theoretically closes that gap?
