Jays are handcuffed a bit this year and can't sign any one player to more than a $300,000 bonus. However, if I'm not mistaken their actual IFA pool is still over $2M. So they should be able to sign a few of these low 6-figure guys that might develop into something. My worry is that the Shatkins era doesn't focus nearly as much as the AA era on the IFA market. From what I understand, Cleveland wasn't really good with the IFA side of things, so we may be heading back towards a JP Ricciardi view of the IFA market. I sure hope not.

I'm not willing to commit to that yet. He's struggled of late. And yes, I understand SSS...but I'm just saying...it looks like hitters are adjusting. Can he re-adjust back. I hope he can...but there's a reason he's only made his ML debut this season. Let's see if he can right his ship. -

Hart is good... But not great. I'd rather see who slides out of the first before committing to Hart. I'd rather see who's around at 56 or 61. Parsons?

I don't hate the move, but I don't love it either. The Leafs had had bad luck in both dealing for goalies (Bernier, Raycroft, Toskala) and dealing goalies (Rask). So, I'm a little gun shy. Let's wait and see what Freddy is. If he can put up numbers similar to what he's already done, we're laughing. This move is a lot easier to swallow in a year where they are loaded with picks.
