I love the chip Demar has on his shoulder. He seems hell bent on shoving this deal down Ujiri's throat. It's really a no win for him. If he's the same old Demar then he really has nothing to complain about as the narrative about him was 100% accurate. If he is able to crank it up and take it to another level then the question is, where was this play when we needed it in Toronto? He needs to get over it, shut up, and go be a good player and teammate in San Antonio.

He was dodging calls and texts from both Masai Ujiri and Nick Nurse over the summer. I like that the firing of Casey and trade of DeRozan was basically an indictment of that era. They had multiple seasons, made it to the Eastern finals once, and underperformed in the playoffs every other year. If Lowry is mad at that, fine... But he was part of the failure... So I hope he's mad at himself. I may be wrong, but I think it's gonna be a rocky road with Lowry going forward.

He's still grumpy about the DeRozan trade. He cares more about his friend getting dealt than the fact that his team is better now.

If Borucki is our number 1 going into next season then something has gone horribly wrong. I like Borucki very much, but he's not an ace. Not close.

Yup. The offense is very good and someone will pay for it (literally and figuratively). He doesn't fit in with the Leafs at that price. If he's interested in taking a major discount then maybe, but that's highly unlikely.

It would have to be the right dollar amount and term of course. I'm not convinced that he's back but I know Dubas has mentioned that they'd like to extend Gardiner. Now... Is that lip service? Quite possibly. But it was said. Maybe he wants to bring him back for 2 years and $8m (which would never happen)... Who knows
