  1. Let's just focus on the first prediction and ignore the other two...Not that Hicks isn't a meaningful addition.
  2. Koochie hasn't been getting enough sleep lately.
  3. Hopefully the extra motivation stays in check. Overthrowing for pitchers is a bad thing.
  4. Any worries about Berrios going up against his former team, who may know him better than most?
  5. You've just doomed us by putting that 18 game streak out there. It's a foregone conclusion now.
  6. Then don't make a bet if $20 is beyond what you're willing to lose.
  7. Very fortunate with health on the pitching side this season.
  8. Gausman has the 4th worst run support of any pitcher with at least 20 starts this season @ 3.5 RPG (3.39 after tonight). 1-2-3 are... Logan Webb 3.09 JP Sears 3.16 Zack Greinke 3.32
  9. He will be the next Mariano Rivera
  10. Future Jordan Romano
  11. 20 year anniversary yesterday.... He made it look so easy. Look at the effortless swing...
  12. That was a disappointing finish
  13. I prefer my closer to be unhinged.
  14. Apologies...I was busy.

His image was already s***. But I like that he tried to weasel back in and couldn't even make it to training camp.

    Babcock resigns. Lol!!
  18. It was reported multiple times back in 2018 if I recall. Shapiro was ready to go the rebuild route but ownership wasn't willing to go that route given how well attendance and fan support was after 2015 and 2016, so Shapiro had to create the illusion of contention. True fans knew it was a ruse though.
  19. By that logic no front office should ever be held responsible for personnel failures. They decided on what the roster would be, who to bring in, who to move out. Their combination of players didn't get it done. Shatkins may very well be really smart people... But it's been 8 years and what they're doing hasn't been good enough. They've had some wins, and some losses, but overall... Not getting it done.
  20. This is true. Rogers wouldn't allow a rebuild. they were pandering to the casuals knowing they'd lap up the lies that the Jays were still a contender.
  21. 13 years and counting after tonight
  22. No. After 2016 when many thought the Jays window had closed.
  23. Maybe Ricky isn't quite the lock some thought he'd be. Really curious to see what he brings next season.
