    For CP3
  4. Joey Belle?
  5. f***ing French. f*** the Habs!
  6. Dodgers...in the same deal as Galvis
  7. Stro loves hearing himself speak.
  8. So...I'm not sure if this is common, as I can't say I've ever really noticed before, but 2 players from the draft have not been assigned to the DSL. 10th rounder Glenn Santiago is playing there, and now JC Masson is being sent there.
  9. I'm probably alone in this but I've thought for years that they should do away with anthems before sporting events altogether.
  10. Exactly. Like he even has a choice in the matter.
  11. 91-94 is a lot better than the 88-91 I read for Allgeyer.
  12. Interesting that Murray has a 55 grade FB but in the writeup they say he throws it with below average velocity. The deceptiveness of his delivery makes it play up.
  13. Do we trust those measurements from a century ago? Or were they more urban legend than anything?
  14. Ya...he'd love to re-sign him here after we banish him to Minnesota. He's the type that would hold a grudge.
  15. Yup. I like the concept a lot....just wondering though... Curious how that kind of scoring would've changed results in years gone by. Is the HRD historical data available that shows # of homers and distance of each one? Would really be curious to see if the winners generally remain the same or does everything get thrown completely out of whack? 3 times as many points for bombs seems like a massive advantage for the Aaron Judge's of the world. The Alex Bregman's might as well not even compete. Is that what we're looking for? Just get your hulking sluggers up there trying to do HR for distance cause that's essentially what it would turn into.
  16. When I say crafty lefty I'm talking about guys that sit 88-91. Not 93. The margin for error is pretty small when you don't have a fastball that's good enough to miss barrels if it isn't placed just right. Are there successful pitchers that can't break a plane of glass? Sure. But it's the exception... And I rarely feel comfortable with them on the mound.
  17. As soon as they start throwing him 65mph meatballs he will.
  18. Could running out of steam actually be a wakeup call?
  19. They're both crafty lefties. I'm not a fan of those guys. Marginal stuff but good command. Unless their stuff has ticked up this season.
  20. Stroman and Giles are both far superior assets to Happ. I am clenching my butt cheeks though as it would be very Blue Jays for them both to get hurt before they're moved.
  21. It was an accident. As a catcher, Molina would've supported Lucroy had he pulled out a handgun and shot Marisnick coming down the line.
