Gibby is such a good old boy. I'd be good with him coming back to manage this group. That said, people who are balls deep into analytics and watch the game through a spreadsheet might have reservations about Gibby, who won't always follow the textbook.

What prospects has Atkins traded? Aside from Kendall Williams...who is intriguing, they really haven't moved anyone of consequence that I can think of.

Selfishly I would've liked to see Vladdy in the Derby. But if he feels that skipping it will give him a bit of a breather and help him with the 2nd half playoff push then I'm all for it. -

Good for them for getting it done. I'd be happy if I was a fan of either team. Here's my bottom line...and it covers all sports. if my team can't win, then f*** every other team. Now. Obviously someone is going to win...and I'm not going to like it cause it ain't my team. So...if I am going to have any sort of preference, I want it to be the most talented team. I want talent and skill to prevail if I have a choice. That isn't the Habs or the Isles.

Fair enough. I realize all those things but I guess I was just hoping that a prospect that was rated that high on the Top 100 list would be able to overcome those things and just get rolling again. But that's probably unfair.
