  1. Up is really no worse than down. Just avoid the middle and it's good.
  2. When I went, I brought of bunch of new Little League baseballs still in the plastic as tips. Gave almost every employee at the resort one, and gave our favourite guy 2 pairs of new baseball pants for his 2 sons. They absolutely loved the new balls and we got amazing service afterwards. Whenever a Cuba game was on TV, almost the whole staff was in the lobby watching.
  3. He does.
  4. He SHOULD be in Buffalo. I think there is certainly a chance, but likely in the pen.
  5. If someone other than Floyd is the 5th starter, then it is almost guaranteed Floyd is in the pen.
  6. In 2015 as a reliever: vs. R: 9.3% SwStr%, 76.1% GB% vs. L: 6.3% SwStr%, 58.7% GB% If you want to use your triple slash stats: SLG vs. R: .172 SLG vs. L: .308 ISO vs. R: .000 (didn't give up an extra base hit to a righty in 26.1 IP!) ISO vs. L: .077 Thats all the stats Brooks gives me: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/outcome.php?player=592717&b_hand=-1&gFilt=&pFilt=FA|SI|FC|CU|SL|CS|KN|CH|FS|SB&time=year&minmax=ci&var=iso&s_type=8&startDate=07/23/2015&endDate=03/21/2016 Much better against righties.
  7. He was not equally good. vs. R 2014 22.7% K%, 5.3% BB%, 17.3% K-BB%, 67.3 GB%, 8.8 SwStr%. 2.24 FIP, 2.82 xFIP vs. L 2014 21.7% K%, 10.9% BB%, 10.9% K-BB%, 63.3 GB%, 5.3 SwStr%, 3.82 FIP, 3.34 xFIP He was still good against L, but not as good as against R.
  8. Could you stop using a triple slash for stats against a pitcher? Thanks.
  9. LetTheBallFly
  10. Monster shot.
  11. Ya low K and low BB means very high ball in play rate. He is subject to BABIP gods more than anyone else on team.
  12. The best example is always CJ Wilson. He was a reliever for 4 years and threw 73.2 IP the last year, then he went straight to 4 200+ IP seasons.
  13. Straily has excellent minor league numbers and over the last 3 years, with a minimum of 200 IP in the MLB, Straily sits 18th out of 169 starters in SwStr%. Sandwiched between Greinke and King Felix. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=sta&lg=all&qual=200&type=5&season=2015&month=0&season1=2013&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=11,d
  14. Yes please.
  15. Whiff = swing and miss.
  16. 3 whiffs now, all Marisnick. 71% GB%.
  17. I missed just that one pitch lol. So 1 whiff so far. 80% GB.
  18. Nice inning, but no whiffs yet.
  19. wRC+ should account for Vegas yes. He could have had a talent change, which would change his projections.
  20. Ceciliani is actually better than most you could find. He just put up a 157 wRC+ in his first taste of AAA. Also had 34+ UZR per 150 at all 3 OF positions last year in small sample, to go along with his good eye test D. He is also only 25 so there is upside.
  21. Choate, Girodo, and Venditte. Venditte is able to face a righty in between two lefties if needed.
  22. Loup is an excellent LOOGY. But theyre not really THAT hard to replace.
  23. Home run derby avg is less than 40% when the pitcher wants batter to hit a HR to the best HR hitters in the game.
