    I think you need to read the Sabremetric introduction thread. (We would never use W-L record here for the reasons you just stated.) Hutch actually had an okay xFIP last year and put up 1.5 WAR in 150 IP which is not bad. He has a 4.00 career xFIP and 102 career xFIP- (meaning he is just 2% below average).

    You should probably stop using your + and - wRC+ numbers. They are extremely confusing. I literally thought you meant -31 wRC+ the first time.

    Sanchez could miss more bats yes, but that's only required if he is going to be an ace or #2. He will be very serviceable if the walk rate is legitimate.
