    Interesting discussion guys, and yeah I doubt he would ultimately sign here. However I still think it would be a relief to hear that the Jays were in on him heavy, would let us know that the FO is at least willing to try and sign big name free agents as the team progresses to hopefully contenders.

    Is there money to be made in betting baseball, I havent had much luck. Run lines seem so tantalizing but ive been burnt a few times this season, and just stopped trying eventually.

    Cubs are certified choke artists, absolutely brutal. Brewers are red-hot but not that strong of a team and getting into the playoffs this year, if only the jays were in the NL.

    I don't see why the Jays cant be 2019 Oakland Athletics 'lite' Big years from Vlad, Bichette, Biggio, Gurriel, (Gurriel and Bichette were on pace to have big years if they had played the entire time) throw in Jansen/McGuire with a mix of thrifty signings and maybe one or two bigger free agent signings (1B and PITCHING). I don't see why they cant win 85ish games, a lot has to go right, but the core has a lot of talent and definitely could see some big years from the kids.
