    Jays are 6th and 8th in batting and pitching fWAR respectively, that is with some serious down years from Vlad, Manoah, Kirk and Varsho. Orioles are also outplaying their pythag record by 5 whole games, while the jays are only one game above where the should be. Could end up being a monster second half finish for the Jays kind of like 2021, but this time there is an extra wild card spot and they're far ahead of where that team was at this point in the year. Look at the schedule end of August into September, Guardians, Nationals, Rockies, Athletics, and Royals. If they capitalize on that portion of the schedule like they should they'll be laughing.

    Lol cause if Manoah imploded again he’s definitely losing his job. Why would he put himself in that position during a weak part of the schedule when the team should win or even sweep the next two series even with how bad they played in the Boston series.

    Yeah, I would say he sucks and would literally not help this team in anyway. Going forward could he be good? obviously possible hes still a premium prospect but if you're going to give him that luxury you have to give it to Varsho too.

    I wonder how unlucky he is getting, his xWOBA is in line with 2021, and top 3% in the league. His other stats are also in line with his 2021 season, or slightly better in some cases we desperately need these results to develop in the second half.

    Pitching was never going to be a strong point of this team, the hitting should and was supposed to easily be able to out slug a team like the Redsox and win a game like yesterday and today handily. It's not happening, Vlad and Varsho are major let downs with the bats.

    I am 100% on board with blaming Vlad for the entire offensive struggles, the dude is supposed to be literally 5x better than he is right now, he is single handily torpedoing the season if he does not turn it around ASAP. There is no one to look forward to hitting in the lineup except Bichette, and maybe Springer of late.

    Moreno sucks, Gurriel is barely better than Varsho and not controllable, trade is a wash at worst.
