  1. Quick Question? Is Dante Bichette still on the bench as a coach??
  2. He finally achieved his weight threshold allowing him to bend over and and get it and throw accurately. All about mobility isn't it and he is squaring up on balls more now than before!
  3. Nice to see the Yankees take it "Up The Ass" for a change! Cocky bastards last week when they were all hanging on the bench laughing knowing that Chase Anderson was tipping his pitches...
  4. Kirk has engaged warp speed with the bat and running the bases lol
  5. need a couple more runs now... yes i'm greedy lol
  6. what do I keep telling everyone, Vladdy's range of motion is f***ing killing everything. He should have had that short hop aside! You make those f***ing plays!
  7. Look at Vladdy there rolling around barely could get up off the ground...lol
  8. Seeing a guy on crutches and winching while walking in the stands..., lets say he is healed in 10 days, there is a lot of range of motion and running drills and strength building needed to ensure his knee can sustain any sort of impact and full range of motion even if he DH'ing. If the Jays make it to the American League Championship series yes, Rowdy could be back, but expecting him in the first round is a big f***ing "if".
  9. Needed that 2 out hit so bad....
  10. Rowdy won't be back, Panick is a veteran with playoff experience!
  11. Same old s*** Vladdy!!! Go jump on the exercise bike and take your frustration out man!!! Jesus Christ...
  12. Regardless of Vladdy's struggle he should be batting 7th and we would get more value out of his bat in that position for the time being. New Lineup for playoffs based on Today's hitting: 1. Biggio 2B 2. Panick DH 3. Bichette SS 4. Gurriel LF 5. Hernandez RF 6. Shaw 3B 7. Guerrero 1B 8. Grichuk CF 9. Jansen C My belief is Panick will see more pitches to walk or get on base and in a 7-8-9 pinch hit role his position could be vital to swap out ahead of the sluggers with a stolen base attempt with Villar or Davis.
  13. Same ole s*** from Vladdy, cannot even hit a ball in the air everything is drilled to the god dam ground!!! Message should be sent to him that come in out of shape in spring training and you start in AAA until you prove anything! Every pitcher is is pitching him in the lower part of the strike zone and they know he will hit it on the ground every f***ing time!!! See how Harper can reach low and pull a ball to the outfield 3-4 times this series, Vladdy cannot get his body or swing in that position period due to lack of range of motion.
  14. ok so he is not too bad on the walk side but there have been many at bats where he is swinging just to make contact whereas he does have superior plate coverage ability he should be taking at least 1 walk a game! As for his weight, we all know this is holding him back and until he proves us otherwise we can live in hope and say just wait till next year! We all said that about Snyder and Rios potential ability as players but those guys never blossomed to what we thought they would based on hype and the minors. I do honestly believe Vladdy can dominate this game but his weight truly is impacting his full potential as a power hitter and lift angle. Saying the balls he hit almost went out would give him elite status this year is the same as saying balls that were caught by opposing players if they dropped he would be a .400 hitter. Too nonsense to even suggest this "LetTheBallFly", actual results is all the f***ING COUNTS!!! SIMPLE! I hope your right and next year he is in great shape and dominates, but where Vladdy is now and where he needs to be for conditioning is something so hard for him to overcome or he would have already achieved it. The Cards or in this case the baseballs are stacked against him at this point. He is going to have to prove a lot of people wrong that he can be in great shape next spring.
  15. 1. He has done solid in a pandemic year What 6 homes runs and .245 avg and s***** OBP?, the guy can't take a walk if his life depends on it. Yes he hits the ball hard but he has not learned how to lift the ball with the launch angle nor seems to be so inclined to change how to do this... f*** how many times can a guy hit the ball on the ground. Right now he has no business hitting higher than 7th in the lineup! 2. He has already lost weight last offseason and during the season and looks in better shape now. Trolls gonna troll Dude, there is such a thing as loosing weight do too playing baseball in general and ya he maybe lost 10 pounds if lucky... His f***ing legs and arse are still huge! Anyone on this board could tell you if he really needed to loose weight and increase his mobility most guys taking it f***ing seriously could drop 20-25 pounds in 75 days including the 3 week spring training he had as well before the 60 games. The guy likes to eat plain and simple, and until he gets serious counselling to understand proper eating and food proportions he will never address his weight and there has to be a professional consequence such as AAA to let him learn this. Sure he might get f***ing grouchy and his family get all crazy but let hime come back from Triple A looking like a stud and hitting homeruns and all will be forgotten! Vladdy's center of gravity is all f***ed up and no his thick arse and legs is not going to allow him to hit home runs if he can't jolt swing is hips correctly in a homerun swing. I've noticed anything a couple of inches slightly above his knees he can't even bend to get any lift at all on the ball when he hits it compared to other players doing this. Everything he hits in the outfield is near or marginally just below the belt, everything else is hit hard to the ground. Folks that is lack of range of motion period! Not a troll just a realist who sees it for what it is!
  16. I think it is fair to say that Vladdy should be told in the off season to not come in to camp with any weight on or he will be optioned to AAA until he gets in shape. His weight is affecting every aspect of his game from mobility, hitting, mental aspect of knowing his weight is affecting him plays on his mind, and too f***ing send a message to take his game seriously to the next level requires physical and mental clarity. Who cares if you offend him and his dad! In this f***ing game today results is everything and time to put up or be sent down until maturity on all levels kicks in!!!
  17. Villar is intriguing... Do you have him bat 9th so when the lineup is turned over you have Mr. on-base machine Biggio leading off and then Bichette hitting second? If Villar gets on base hititng 9th you have stolen base threat in front of Biggio giving him the opportunity with his batting eye to allow Villar to steal or end up with hitters on 1st and second after walk with meat of the order coming up!
  18. I think Robbie Ray is your power lefty out of the bullpen. This is where the Jays Brass know they will be in most games but need shutdown relievers for 6-7-8 innings. You will see him leveraged in an approach of coming right after hitters and throw down the middle hoping he hits the plate! I think the Jays Brass see most games and playoffs will be decided by power arms and shutdown bullpens!
  19. Good Review here on Van Eyke. Jays might have seen something many scouts have not? https://www.lookoutlanding.com/2019/9/16/20868070/2020-mlb-draft-2020-mariners-rhp-cj-van-eyk-college-prospect
  20. Safe pick, not a lot of high upside. You get what you see just need polishing for 4-5 starter type if he can get fast ball command. I think this is a an under slot value deal, I think you will see more high potential high school picks for pitchers in rounds 3-5.
  21. WOW WOW WOW, VEEN or Martin or Gonzales. I would not be disappointed with Gonzalez. Jays taking pitcher i think unfortunately, just watch the board go f***ing mad and crazy angry ala Chris Sale memories.
  22. Still in shock on #2 pick, wait till to 3 and 4 picks are someone listed as 6, 7th, 8th or 9th. Then it is like holy f*** lick your chops Blue Jays fans ha ha.
  23. f*** I'm excited!!!
