    I think most of our holes can be addressed through FA without too much risk. I think you're right, we don't need to trade from our strengths to fill our needs reasonably this offseason. Now is the time spend a bit. Agreed. No need to overthink it. Sign a Platoon bat to pair with upton in left. Sign a rf ( Desmond/fielder) , sign a dh ( Beltran/morales) or rotate guys through the position between tulo, Martin, travis), sign a rf. We bring back an awesomely consistent starting staff, our 7 8 9 bullpen as well as some other bullpen arms. Cecil and Benoit or replacements could be had. I expect the payroll to be 170m and we'll be at about 120m after Arby.

    Votto is brutal in the field, but people can't see past the girth of the trunks of their maple boner forest to see this. Its always, always, always"trade for votto...uhh...money shot". Why not ever goldy or other stud 1bman that can actually , you know, field and don't have awful contracts?
