    well, it sucks that pompey will probably be called up in september and not be eligible... sucks cuz he could easily be our second best outfielder and such a valuable piece to have for a run. Edit (derp): or because he played a few games in April, is he still eligible?

    hes an FA, wont cost much, is WAYYY better than doubront, probably better than dickey... has a 3.84 xfip. His only problem this year has been limiting the homers. I think the way our bullpen is shaping up, hed be a great pick up; let that power pen shorten the game.

    at this point, just get kennedy for a low level prospect and call it a day... the team is not positioned well enough to give up major assets for 11-12 starts of david price.
