  1. Inflation doesn't move nearly that fast...
  2. And if he bats .500 in ST he'll be our new starting 2B
  3. Anticipated low-life reply from a low-life.
  4. Holy f*** man..... it's s*** like this that just makes me feel like a worthless pos. So cool tho
  5. Somebody sure is defensive, and I'm not talking about Sandoval
  6. Are teams (Boston) over-valuing Sandoval? How good is his glove? His bat is not that great for a 3B.
  7. Do you ever feel like you're an enigma wrapped up in a conundrum?
  8. Nobody actually needs an "Ace" to get the play-offs, they just need 5 starting pitchers who's collective performance outdoes their opponent (not to mention bullpen and offense). Once you get to the play-offs it's a different story of course...
  9. Quite obviously he's CHP (or one of his personas), even I've been here long enough to know that
  10. Good one! Trade-mark Moogy
  11. That's pretty much just what he does, natural born try hard
  12. It's a scary thing. Very few players do not decline after signing massive contracts. I don't know why any GM would do this and I respect that our organization refuses to.
  13. I think in the world of baseball a "decision that doesn't pan out" is essentially a bad decision.
  14. AG: I think you're right but this is all happening for the wrong reasons. Our GM is on the hotseat and we have a slim chance to compete so he's taking it. There's no way AA is going to go into a rebuild mode, that's essentially admitting failure on his part.
  15. Don't care. There's 30 MLB teams. I realize fans want to pretend like they're the only team but really you have to compete with up to 29 other teams. Usually there's half a dozen or more in on any given player so the odds are always going to be stacked against you.
  16. oya... PF has a lot to do with it
  17. Hellickson had one fluke year where he totally out-performed his peripherals...
  18. Something is seriously wrong with you. And there's no retort in the world that can't truly disprove that.
  19. It's pretty devastating.... After that blockbuster trade where everyone thought (at the time) that we totally fleeced the Marlins... and now, next year the Marlins will most likely make the play-offs and the Blue Jays most likely won't. Meanwhile Reyes and Buehrle are sleeping in mattresses full of $$ P.S.> Reyes is a loser.
  20. This contract works because it's not more than Bautista is making
  21. Every time he starts valuing something more he loses sight of something else.
  22. There used to be a time when it was exceptionally rare for a player to jump from AA to the majors. Alex Anthopoulos has made this exceptionally common in recent years. And it reeks of desperation.
  23. Impossible not to like this trade, Gose never lived up to anything offensively. Glad to see him go. I guess the Tigers are missing Austin Jackson and trying to replace him...
  24. It's okay bro, don't want it, don't deserve it, don't care.
  25. We already had this thread like a month ago, why another?
