    Sometimes when you feel change is needed you have to speak-up or else things will just continue [unchanged]. There are examples of this in every facet of society. Even if that "change" may not happen right away.

    Good points. I hate to go down this path but if $5M/WAR is conservative then Trout is worth more than some teams entire salary...

    Not surprised Dickey is worth negative value... people think his contract is good, it's really not. It's just okay. And I think people are over-valuing Melky a little... he's not worth more than $15-16M/yr. Edwin and Jose's contracts are just dumn. Surprised Janssen had almost no value this year.

    Derek Norris is career 143 wRC+ vs LHP. And I really don't think it's "wasting time". There's enough time in the off-season to call every single GM and talk about every single player from little league up. AA should be doing everything and anything he can to improve the club. With that said, I expect him to a bunch of less than spectacular moves.

    It's kind of already been established that the difference between SS and 2B is negligible. To be honest this doesn't really fix anything. You can't hide Reyes' poor defense at 2B. At least put the strongest arm at SS, which is Reyes IMO.

    Snider's finally had a break-out year. Took a long time but it finally happened. Not to the caliber that we might have expected a few years ago but Pirates have been batting him 2nd more and more... what a compliment to be batting 2nd infront of Cutch.
