  1. Not sure if Nats got the memo.... Vogelscrub sucks
  2. Giants or Cardinals in WS? Could it be any more boring and predictable?
  3. Ahh the gold ol' bone spurs...when MLB appearances fail to impress and velocity is down, must be those there bone spurs!
  4. Nats got shut down big time, both teams did really...
  5. Gotta send Rendon here don't u? Not sure of his speed but 17-3 this season...
  6. Petit = Starter (in September and spot starts throughout the season), hence the 6 IP
  7. With a day off and because it's about equal, doesn't mean much either way
  8. These teams seem to have an unending supply of great pitchers
  9. This game looking like it will go on for all time
  10. I would say you need to be at least 75% sure
  11. A lot of teams are impotent this postseason
  12. Another thing is they're playing in real baseball parks with real fans...
  13. No way. I'm just better than most. The funny thing is, deep down, my inspiration was I wanted to quit my f***ing job (and just make money betting on baseball)... I'm disappointed I couldn't do better... I still have to work 9-5, 40 hours at week... and that makes me a scrub like everybody else.
  14. The first little while I was playing $5, $10, $25, $50, and sometimes $100 double-up games (I only started playing this year). There's a lot of luck on a night by night basis but not in the long run / not if you're using all of the data available to determine the optimum pts per line-up. I'm about $1,600 up right now (I was hoping for a lot more tbh...). By the way, never play the public head-to-head matches... 99% of those guys are absolute pros (they'll take your money). I recommend the league double-up games and I also play the big tournament games for fun.
  15. I have a certain amount I like to play with each night. So I start with the micro games and work my way up until I reach that. It doesn't make a big difference I'd say, because good players probably think the same way. But I still tend to think you would have more 'scrubs' playing micro games.
  16. It's on par with online poker IFAM. The less money you're playing for the less 'skill' the guys you're playing with generally have. I'll join 10x $1 games before I join 1x $10 game. In any case, if you're just guessing at your line-ups (i.e. you like x batter vs. y pitcher in z ball-park) you'll lose money in the long wrong (the same way people who don't know poker odds will end up losing money at poker). With micro games I'd still say roughly 50-60% have a good idea about their line-ups and another 10-20% have a very good idea (using all the data available to project optimum points). A lot of people are playing, it's probably on the verge of becoming 'mainstream' if it isn't already. Why wait until next season though? You can play during the play-offs, plus you can play for free if you're nervous.
  17. Let the flood of discussion begin...
