    Russel Martin seems to be a way better catcher than Navarro or Thole. He knows how to manage the bullpen and what pitches will work. Added poll to see how you all feel.

    Agree. Unless he gets a no-no one in the next 3 games the chances of him winning it are low.

    This lineup is so bad. Thole and Pennington should never play together, ever. Two automatic outs.

    I can't see any way you start him against the Yankees. Even though Buhrle is done physically I can't trust a guy who had a bad pitching performance in AAA.

    Jays are lucky to be down by only 3. Buhrle is done. He was delayed one day and he couldn't do anything right today.

    To Rogers at this point it depends on how much money they can make with a post season run. If they make an extra $50 million this year our salary cap for next year will see a large boost.

    Just wondering why some of you guys just don't stream. I've streamed about 10-15 jays game this season through the MLBstreams subreddit and I've always found a HD link.

    Dirty move by Sportsnet. If a player is doing a spot for a different organization and you take him there for an interview, you have to reimburse him for the clothes. Bautista is not a rookie and if he was treated like this he would freak. Good on him.

    Roy Halladay was horrendous when he was 22 and pitching in AAA. 5.50 ERA with a 2-3 record. Take your time and figure out what needs to be improved. That's the entire point of the minors.

    Long season to go guys. Take the loss as a team and move on to the next one. We need to win the next two games!

    I'm not a fan of a gibby like most of you (check post history), but where were you all yesterday with your posts. Reality is this team is good enough to make it to the playoffs without an amazing manager. After we make it to the playoffs it's uncharted territory for most of us including our core.

    Meh winning brings pride and higher attendance. If you rather have no bandwagon jumpers than go cheer on a crappy team. There are no teams that are winning consistently that don't have bandwagon jumpers.

    At this point we are not even in a position that guarantees us a playoff spot and you guys are already worried about resting players. If we are 4-5 games ahead in wildcard than sure it makes sense to rest the players for 1-2 games. Not when you have a half game lead over the next team.
