    Sanchez probably cares more about his next contract than a CY young.

    Considering that there were no leaks on Upton, I can't imagine there would be any leaks for Cashner.

    As I stated earlier this deal must have been too good to pass up for the Jays. I guess I was right.

    Why do you say that? I know he is on innings restriction, but he is pitching really well. If he showed that he needs a rest it would be in his performances. He is also one of our best starters.

    I can't fathom how Gibby can move Sanchez to the bullpen when he has won 10 games in a row. Makes no sense. Thole is mediocre and a backup catcher shouldn't cost them much to acquire. We really can't use Thole regularly as he is useless offensively.

    Like the deal. I just hoped they made a bigger move for where we need more help; bullpen and a catcher. I suppose the deal was too good to pass up.

    I don't think you can blame Shapiro. He has been given a very strict budget and has been told to stay under. That is why AA left as he saw this job is impossible to succeed at. This ownership group does not want to spend to get better.

    Gibbons risked it and we barely won. We obviously need more help in a few places on this roster. LF, Backup C and bullpen x 2. So yeah our roster so far stinks.

    I understand why the Jays didn't resign price, but why didn't they get a backup catcher and LF help? There had to be some cheap options better than Thole and Carrera.

    I just don't see this offense waking up. The bottom of the order looks horrible. Carrera, Thole and Goins are very poor. When Travis comes back we should fix one hitter, but we are still missing a backup catcher and a LF.

    Halladay was in a similar predicament and completely changed his approach. Obviously you need to work on it.

    Hutchison has always had problems with walks. He has never had control of his pitches. He needs to redesign his pitching similar to what Halladay did in his stint in the minors. If he can make himself a better overall pitcher he will better off.

    Our bullpen sucks and we all knew it before the season started. The only bright spot in our bullpen after Osuna was cecil and he is s***ing the bed. So yeah our bullpen sucks more than expected.

    Not watching the game, but is Happ having control problems? Considering how the Rays are free swingers. 39 strikes 24 balls.

    The bullpen so far looks way better than last year. Starting pitching is what makes me nervous.

    The longer this contract negotiations go the more I can see that AA knew what was going on with the Jays front office and that's why he left. Not much you can do when the front office doesn't want to spend.
