    It is Stroman. The fact that the WC starter will speak to media, they wouldn't throw Liriano out there It's Stroman and it probably came down to Gibby's insistance

    Stroman vs O's 2016 22.3lp 33 hits Only 12 strikeouts 7.36 ERA Orioles see him really well. They are going to destroy him. Not a lot of swings and misses either, if you take out his April game it's even worse

    With Liriano we can win a 3-2 type game. Stroman is giving up at least 4 over 6 innings. The Orioles square him up real good He is exactly the kind of pitcher they are strong with it. Liriano had them at odds for 6 innings. In fact I'd rather go with Estrada on 3 days rest than Stroman.

    There is nothing he can do about it. Period. If he stands up for himself he would get fired. But the way Smoak and Upton swore it was almost that it wasn't about Barry. This team hates the media in general I would argue Barry had more to do with the Jays winning the WC this year than Smoak or Upton. Over a full season if they played everyday they would have shattered all sorts of strikeout records

    Britton should get the Cy. Precedent was set by roided up Gagne and though Brittons numbers aren't as flashy if you can give Gagne the Cy Young you can give it to Britton Baltimore probably finished 5 games out of the WC if you replace Britton with Osuna

    Stroman is not a better pitcher than Liriano. Liriano is just filthy. Stroman is going to get hit hard by the O's they see him very well. Orioles are the strongest against right handed pitchers with average speeds who don't have overwhelming strikeout stuff. They are the weakest against left handers who throw hard sliders It's a no.brianer what the right decision is.

    Pretty much what I would do. He is going to want to give Givens Brach and Britton 5 innings to work with. For some reason I think the O's are dumb enough to put Ubaldo out there. It sounds crazy but he dominated Jays last week and they make decisions like that

    The problem with Stroman is the amount of contact he gives up. The Orioles could easily hit a couple of dingers of him. Where as Liriano right away you take Chris Davis out of the game. Orioles have an ops less than 700 against lhp. It's honestly a no brain decision to start Stroman against a steam that is probably his worst matchup based on qualitative factors

    Zeke is def in as is Navarro as backup catcher Smoak is in too for first base and Pompey for running. Team is really light on relievers
