    Why would the Indians want Travis, they have a better second baseman under control for the next five years This is why Davidi and company tweeting that Jays almost acquired Carrasco is so hard to believe. Really what do we have to offer the Indians. Why exactly would they want a package built around Stroman, when they already have the ace Stroman can only hope to be. So why exactly would they do it? For Norris, well they already have 3 aces. They can acquire a couple of average pitchers, they dont need frontline pitchers. Which leaves offsense. Since Travis is staying put, what can the Jays offer. Donaldson? Indians wouldn't want Bautista or Encarnacion or Reyes, Maybe Pillar, but Pillar would only be the 2nd or 3rd piece. Really if you seriously think about it there is no conversation between Indians and Jays. The whole thing is f***ing manufactured bullcrap, Unless it was Donaldson who AA was offering. Its stupid there isn't enough for Indians and Jays to talk about.

    I honestly thought the worse move was playing Goins over Travis. With the offday tomorrow that makes zero sense. I'd understand it if it was Reyes or Bautista but Travis is so young. Goins came up twice with Walker in the ropes and twice bailed him out. Anyways you just get the feeling that this team is just a .500 team once again and for the immediate future. I hope AA doesn't make any trades unless it's a baseball trade I.E trading Bautista for a young controllable front line starter.

    Nah. Davidi said we have to give Cinci Bautista Donaldson Travis Stroman and Osuna if we want Cueto.

    Despite what happened this game was not lost due to pitching. The difference in this game was 2 at bats for Ryan Goins with runners in scoring position, one ending in a strikeout and the other in a triple play (Regardless of what happened) That was the difference. travis got a hit in his only at bat. He should have been in the entire game. Those 2 at bats were the difference between this becoming a blow out, or Walker staying in the game.

    See Managers are just show pieces. Its not important who is in the game Also all contact is the same. The hitter cannot control where the ball will end up, except for homeruns and strikeouts. Goins contact = Bautista contact if it stays in the park. Therefore hitters should only be judged on walks strikeouts and homeruns -Fangraphs.
