Extra fans only leads to an increase in certain variable expenses such as more ushers more ticketing agents etc. These expenses are miniscule compared to most of the expenses which are fixed such Dome maintenance electricity production ect.
Other then more workers I can't imagine an.increase in any other expenses with respect to attendance increase
I think you guys are underestimating the value of Novelty. If this was the way jays were every year the hype wouldn't be nearly as big. A lot of this excitement and uptick is due to that factor

I wonder what the incremental increase in revenue is for the last 30 games. If we say that the jays will have say 12000 more fans a game with each fan contributing an average of $50 that is $600k a game.
There are very few costs of the incremental increase in attendance but suppose it's $100k per game. That's an operating increase of $500k a game times 30 is $15 Million from attendance alone
So you would rather Jays win ALE and Angels win ALW
