Bautista will simply wait till June. Without the draft pick teams will easily sign him to a good deal Not only will we lose out on adding 2-3 WAR on the corner outfield there will be no draft pick.

I wouldn't go that far, it may be December 12th but the Yankees and Redsox have both objectively improved. I would say almost half the offseason in terms of big moves is complete, maybe more. People are going to be pessimistic because we aren't projected to be much better than .500, and they expected more. We didn't land Fowler, we didn't land some other offseason targets, we haven't improved our corner outfield positions, say what you will about Morales but he definitely is not the hitter Encarnacion is. The Bullpen hasn't improved either.

That's great. So we aren't at 140 Mil yet and already begging for payroll. What a waste selling out the stadium and setting record ratings over the last two years Rogers doesn't care a dime about the Jays. Can't wait till ratings are a forty percent of what they used to be and the franchise value drops by 300 Mil in the next couple of years I'm sure Shapiro will have his big bag of excuses ready probably brought them from Cleveland and where he remained in power for 15 years despite accomplishing 0
