    Except its his agents job to canvass the market and see what Bautista would be worth in an open market. They ought to be looking at Cespecades contracts and Bautista is older.

    Why don't they just do 5/150 but leave a team option at 3/80. So the risk is mitigated at 80 Mil. Since Bautista believes in himself so much and the total contract value matters so much to him I would think a deal like that much sense

    Chavez is bloody awful. He shouldn't be starting he shouldn't even be on an MLB roster and we gave away a great reliever for him. He was beaten badly out of Oakland whip over 1.4. Way more hits than innings pitched. Chavez will be eaten alive by Redsox Orioles and Yankees

    If Floydd is healthy he should be starting. this is not even a question. Sanchez should be left a reliever. He won't develop the secondary stuff necessary his minor records is horrible. If he goes back to AAA to start then we could see a huge loss of confidence one where he may not be able to become a good reliever from. If Sanchez goes to AAA we may never see him in an MLB game again
