    Cola suspended is the best thing that could have happened to this team. A Left Handed Smoak really balances the lineup against RHP.

    I think Smoak has come up huge as of late. Even last year, I know a lot of people felt, he should have been playing over Cola every day. If the lineup continues to struggle, and you want to give it a strong up the middle order, I would consider the following upon Travis's return Travis Suanders Donaldson Bautista Smoak Encarnacion. Tulo Pillar Martin That is a crazy crazy good lineup, even with bats struggling. Even if Martin doesn't become average again, and Tulo doesn't improve. That lineup is going to murder pitchers.

    what about his performance is not sustainable. Seems to me that guy throws hard, throws strikes, his secondary stuff has improved (as it should for a rookie), and he looks poised, controlled, and doesn't fall apart. I dont see why Sanchez cannot continue this level of performance. Both his BABIP and his HR to Flyball ratio are higher than where they should be, so he has performed even better than the numbers show.
