    People dont understand how terribly imbalanced this team is, and this in part has led to issues itself. Honestly if Seattle made a good offer for EE, I would trade him in a heart beat for a prospect. EE isn't going to dictate whether or not we climb back into the race here. Its going to be Tulo, Martin, Travis's return and so on. EE is struggling big time, plus a free agent to boot. At this point he would be left accepting a qualifying offer from us. He has barely been above average, and for a DH that is not good enough. We can easily place Bautista in that role half the time, get him off the field, bring in Travis to DH some times as he heals and becomes a regular again and so on... I would even move Dickey if I got an offer.

    I am hoping Smoak will breakout. I know its a fantasy, but it would be just wonderful, if Smoak can be next in line to carry on the Jays tradition of finding Coal and turning them into diamond hitters. If I remember correctly Smoak was a big time power prospect who just didn't pan out early. He has been amazing for 100 plate appearances, just hoping this carries forward. What a find that would be. Though I am not sure how much control is left.

    Best manager jays ever had was Carlos Tosca But they threw him to the wolves after a bad year in which all 3 of our best players hurt Man that guy could really manage the bullpen

    I remember when AA took over, they had a roundtable with Mccowan Brunt and others. There was serious talk of this being the last chance Jays had to turn it around, things were really bad. Ratings were down to 100-200K no one cared about baseball in Toronto AA saved the Jays, and this is the thanks he gets. What a world we live in. Go Suck Shapiro's dick. Lets see where he gets us, give him 6 years there wont be playoff baseball in Toronto. You know why? He doesn't know how. He just talks good. Anyways I am done for the night. Jays are done too.

    Yeah, you know that for sure. Once Ace Pitcher would have gotten you into contendership year after year. You know we had the best pitcher in baseball for a decade, didn't do much.

    In many ways AA saved the Bluejays franchise with what he did. There were times during the JP era when there was talk of Jays leaving town

    Most of you dont remember what 1994-2013 was like. You are either too young, or didn't follow religiously enough. Some of us actually watched 20 years of absolutely meaningless baseball. During those years, we didn't even hope to compete, A real fan knows the true value of what 2015 was. If you have been through a desert, then you truly appreciate rain, even if it only rains for a day. you are grateful for it.

    Traditionally speaking everything Shapiro touches has been known to turn into s***, Like the Indians were for 15 years under his leadership. Dont expect much difference here, dude is just horrible luck.
