  1. its not the players fault, its the manager i want a new manager, one who has won ,who is more intense when teams get hurt ,that when the manager manages, make personnel changes etc Gibbons is the worst manager in the division. He is just an avg manager.
  2. boom, naw, the sox dont look comfortable here at all,we wont pitch inside or up and in at all
  3. I guess it shows how deserving the Royals were to have won it all being down 3-1 in both the Alcs, and World Series. Still.... a lot less painful than 87 imo.
  4. Lewis is a rookie, who never played baseball before, thats it right? I dont get it . DUH! Where`s the beef? "Well,i,m sooo sorry, please pardon me for trying to generate some offense, for our lack of offense lately,so sorry to have injured your person" All the players around the league must be laughing.
  5. OMG,what a picture, and its so appropriate for tonight. It sums up tonites game. I feel bad for Dickey... we cant score off anyone right now. Maybe of we face a non ace then we will.
  6. How about calling up Gose and Pillar, and sitting Rasmus. Do we want to win or honour contracts.
  7. Yo. love your avatar,,,who is that ?
  8. 2014 Macier Izturis out for season, fell down stairs in dugout. Couldn,t face the thought of playing on turf again Colby Rasmus long enough injured Brett Lawrie long enough injured Edwin "" Enough already with the injuries... baseball is a hard game to stay healthy http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/l/lou_gehrig.html
  9. I like Bautista as well. He appreciates what this organization-Cito has done for him,and wants to pay them back with a world series, but he also has to be honest, and a good communicator, and leader,so there is no confusion if he leaves.
  10. The Jays, since 2012 and over the past three years, seem to be cursed by injuries to key personnel. Bautista was asked if there has become a certain inevitability that players now accept. “We joke about it, but we don’t believe that truly,” Bautista said. “It’s unfortunate but it seems like us and the Rays we all have to deal with more injuries than normal, more banged up, maybe because of the turf. I mean it’s the only two stadiums left with turf. I don’t know if there’s a way to address it at the Rogers Centre, so we just have to deal with it and either find a way to get deeper with our farm system and have guys that can step in and contribute right away if somebody gets hurt.” http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2014/07/14/blue_jays_allstar_jose_bautista_talks_deals_derby_griffin.html
  11. Lawrie gets hurt in cinncy Encarnacion gets hurt running hard in anaheim Reyes got hurt running ,and not sliding in KC Lind got hurt fouling a ball off on his own foot ,twice Bautista hurt his wrist swinging for the fences in NY,and was done for latter half of last season Reimhold strains his calf in anaheim Kawasaki might have strained his hammy in anaheim,or tampa, but could have played sunday in tampa. His argument does not hold water. He is just tired of playing on turf, and not winning here,so look for him to go to a team that plays on grass... a good team, after his contract.
  12. Excellent Post ! I like the guys we have.Wasn,t sure about Reimold, then he impresses, and gets hurt. We just have to figure a way to stay healthy. I would prefer another right handed batter,or defender with A.L. East experience.
  13. No. Encarnacion, and Lawrie are worth at least 2 runs a game, and Lawrie prevents at least a run a game,so we would be tied, and going into extra innings right now-lol. We are better than Tampa,NY,and Boston, and even with Baltimore, but only if healthy.IMO.
