  1. Sorry. Had to post this. Was sumbitted to mlb.com today.I saw it on tv Monday. Not everyone thought Davis did a good job. Some thought also that Yost did a terrible job in the 9th inning against us. After watching this i am 75% over it.The other 25% will come when the baseball season is over. Techinically you could also say that ump calls may have contributed to us not having HFA,but oh well. IMO,its a nice synopsis from a big fan of our team, city, and fans by MLBTV` Chris Russo. Some nice comments. http://m.mlb.com/video/v526071683/brushback-on-ws-game-1-between-the-mets-and-royals/?mlbtax_key=mlbn_high_heat
  2. I truly hope to see the Mets batters take a page from us,and step out of the box. Pressure should be on KC to not lose 2 ws in a row.
  3. 7 games,with KC losing at home. f*** Ventura,f*** Volquez,f*** Queto,f*** Yost,and f*** the kid who caught the HR. I hope he,s there to see it when it happens. Otherwise,Mets in 4.
  4. Part of an article written yesterday. “We didn’t have one issue,” Byrnes said. “Going in, the crew chief said he was skeptical. But by the end of two days, he said it allowed him to do his job as a home plate umpire so much better. He could focus on check swings, foul tips, plays at the plate. He didn’t have to worry about calling balls and strikes.” Over the years, I have given MLB a lot of unsolicited advice. In one glorious moment, I was chewed out over the phone by Bud Selig while driving my son to buy his first baseball glove. But this radical change in policy should be a no-brainer, embraced by everyone. There was a time when professional tennis was full of petulant brats arguing line calls with hapless umpires. The invention of Hawk-Eye technology put images on a screen, showing everyone where the ball had landed. Tempers cooled immediately. The technology was only an extrapolation of data, and not a real picture. But it gave the illusion of fairness, order and control. And there was no one to argue with. Major League Baseball could use more technology and less pigheadedness. The Pitch f/x technology is already installed at all ballparks, a three-camera system that records the trajectory of a pitch within a one-inch margin for error. Surely, it can be tweaked for greater accuracy, if needed. So fed up with this ump ********.
  5. Media is on our side about that call or two. No doubt about it,but they,ll get over it.

  8. Ump had been doing a pretty good job all game. This Ump issue is going to go and and on,until they go back to the future, and keep em in their own leagues. NL/AL
  9. No balk call with runners on 2nd/3rd. Reynolds saw it.Verducci agreed. So its ok the umps not only miss strike calls, but balks as well? GO METS!. Sweep the Royals or make it as painful.
  10. Umps are chumps. Hope they cost Kc the WS. GO METS !! f*** this ********.
  11. Bautista had to spin ,and his back was turned, plus the field is wet. He didnt expect Cain to try and score. Brutal !
  12. Osuna should only be in if we are leading. Hendricks would have been the best option.
  13. The record might have been the 19 inning game against Detroit. Price started that game for the Tigers-lol.
  14. Someone call Gibbons, and tell him what he should do.
  15. Gibby manages a lot by feel. Not a technical type. Would make a great coach/bench coach.
