Rasmus has been downright awful. Career lows in average and OBP Worse for him he is in a contract year, and practically killing his value. I reckon he has already lost 20-30 mil in a total contract that he would have signed, had he had a season similar to last year. I think its possible that to increase his value, he put too much emphasis on the long ball, and his OBP has suffered. also striking out more than he has ever had before. Maybe the artificial turf is getting to him, he has been terrible at home. Would not resign,

Well now by the time he is back, Bautista will be back in RF (Hopefully) so we wont need him except on the bench against LHP, maybe at DH??

Why wouldn't you call up Goins, who is the backup infielder here, unless Kawasaki is healthy. Team still has Bautista to backup Outfield with Mastro Is Gose already in Tampa today???? Will he be able to play against RHP today??? Arent we facing a LHP tommorrow Why not just send Stroman down, and he wouldn't even miss a start plus you can have Goins up here too Why do i care about this so much

Maybe I am wrong, and forgive me if I am but if Dickey is ranked in the mid60s in starter WAR, wouldn't that mean he is just one good start away from being in the top 60? Since there are 30 teams, wouldn't that mean that Dickey would be an average no.2 starter???? -

Actually jays can still send Stroman down today and have him be ready for July 22nd which would give him the 5th start out of the break It makes too much sense not to do it. To have Goins up here for those games and playing at 2nd

They should have sent stroman down for 10 days after his last start based on Wilner's advice since he would not have pitched in 10 days it would have worked out perfectly. I was looking at the draft pick signing thread and how the first post of that thread was organized by twisted logic I think I know its asking for a lot since I am too inept to do it myself but would it be possible to have a similar injury tracker for the jays So you would have a column for the player injured name date injured current status ( whether DL or not) date expected back and comment Again a feature like that would be amazing ;-)

Normally I would agree with you but I think Francisco's time has come to an end. He is so exposed now Can't wait for Lawrie to get back and AA either getting a 3b or 2b. Need his finger in a hyperbolic chamber
